Sumit is an economist, advocate, and policy expert based in the Washington DC area with over 16 years of experience covering the US, UK, Europe, and other jurisdictions.
He advises companies, regulators, and governments on antitrust and regulatory policy and enforcement, remedy design, legislation, sectoral policies and investment incentives.
His experience includes expert advisory work as a consultant, working for a mobile company, and leading competition and antitrust advocacy at Consumer Reports.
He began his career as an economist for NERA Economic Consulting and received his Master’s degree in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona and his Master’s degree in International Commerce from Seoul National University.
